Study of an investigational medication to treat high cholesterol

General qualifications:

-  Diagnosis of high cholesterol treated or untreated
-  Male or Female
-  Age 18 or older

General conditions that may prohibit study participation:

-  History of cancer in the past 5 years
-  Uncontrolled diabetes
-  Pregnant or lactating women
-  History of alcohol or drug abuse in the past year
-  History of heart or cerebrovascular events including, but not limited to, heart    attack, stroke, TIA
-  Inflammatory Bowel Disease
-  Active liver disease or jaundice
-  Uncontrolled hypothyroidism or change in medication in the past 3 months
-  Uncontrolled hypertension
-  Serious or unstable heart, liver, kidney, or endocrine disorder
-  Use of other investigational medication in the past 30 days
